The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) are part of the regional operations for Surgery and Intensive Care. We care for patients in need of intensive care as well as patients who are too ill to be treated in a regular ward - IMCU patients. We also staff the postoperative unit. The department is described as a workplace with a family-like atmosphere. At ICU/IMCU, anesthesiologists, nurses, and nursing assistants work together in patient care. The nursing assistant works in a team with the responsible nurse.

We are now looking for nursing assistants for summer positions in 2026. Start date by agreement until 2026-08-31 with possible extension.

• ECG
• Sample collection
• Assist nurses/doctors in various examinations/treatments
• Registering patients' vital parameters
• Sterile preparation
• Dressing changes

We offer an individualized onboarding with an experienced colleague.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in emergency care
